Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The main dining room was excellent. The other food was just okay. The fruits should have been MUCH more fresh, can the canned peaches. The salad dressings were poor in taste. Calories do count and I do wish there was a variety of lower calorie salads and foods during the day and at the buffets.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The shows were excellent, the entire family enjoyed them. The other activities were not as eventful. The pools were a big disappointment. The fitness center was fine but fitness classes should have been offered as part of the package and offered though out the days and evenings as well, that would have been fun! Also, I would have LOVED to see yoga classes on the deck in the mornings and it should have been a general activity.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The theater shows were great! The piano guy was a disappointment, he did not seem like he wanted to be there, not funny or amusing! The comedy show was great but the seating could not accommodate the amount of people. The spa programs were a waist of time.

Children's Programs

2 out of 5
The children did not really get involved in the kids club although I signed them up for them. They wanted to be together and since they are not the same ages that was not welcome. The kids programs for 11 and under had too much focus on the younger children that were crying. The older kids program did not allow my 11 year old to participate so neither child did participate. They should have had a list of events that they could participate in at their will. I would have loved to see a list of tours about the ship to teach them about how things operate. astronomy since you have the best view of the stars in the evenings.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The ship personnel were excellent! We did have someone smoking in the cabin next to us and the staff was nice enough to deodorize the room. The staff said it was the ventilation system but we knew better and it happened a few other times again so we just left the room.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Cleanliness was fine. The ship is older and I do think that there should be stations where you can leave your used dishes or cups if you wish. It is an older ship and I do wish we would have picked a newer ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabins were GREAT!

Ports of call

Tampa, Florida

The river walk is lovely.

George Town, Grand Cayman

I wish there was a bike path through the town, riding a bike through the town was not fun or safe.

Cozumel, Mexico

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Too congested of a wait to leave the ship. We felt rushed and had such a wait.

Sounds like you were not made for cruising

I thought most ships have a salad bar. I don't understand the lower calorie part for salads.
