Review summary

Was okay. My mom was sore & bruised from falling backward on the escalator because she was told to keep her room key out in her hand, so she couldn't get a grip on the moving hand rail while holding her suitcase in her other hand. The Hurricane was stressful, didn't sleep whole night & everything canceled in Cozumel. Food was great & staff hard working.

There's no signs telling you to go upstairs, or which lines to get in ... Kinda chaotic.

Pools were very small. Didn't get to use the slide at all because of long lines & too crowded. Hot tubs were great, but the Aft ones were almost impossible to climb into if your over 55 because of the removable step plates that flip on you when you put your foot/weight on them.

Oh your poor mum hope it did not totally spoil her vacation... and that time of year again for the cyclone but very stressful to go through hope your next experience is so much better 👌

Glad your mom is okay. Hurricanes are stressful. i like the fact you remain positive as it helps when things go off a bit. Also good to hear Carnival staff tried to make your trip worthy of a return cruiser. we've had good and not so good cruises but always made a good time of it. we dont drink but are adventurous and love the activities and shows! Hope your next one makes you love carnival all over again 😎
