Review summary

The Paradise is an older ship, but was fun and relaxing for the price.  Employees were great, service was great, but the food as most cruisers know was marginal at best.  Need 5 nights away to refresh your batteries but on a budget or don't want to spend a fortune then this is a great cruise.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Prime rib and blue crab ravioli was awful, but turkey and meatloaf was good.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

5 out of 5
For the price we paid the entertainment was good. Comedians were funny. The cast were good and we enjoyed it.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Rommel was our dining room server. He was really great. Pat was our cabin steward and she was awesome. Ina in guest services went above and beyond.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Not much to it. It was a porthole cabin. Not a lot of furniture so the room felt big.

Ship tip

This ship is small so you see the same people every day and there isn't a lot to do so relax and don't be afraid to make friends. It makes it a lot more enjoyable.

Ports of call

Tampa, Florida

Burger King has free wi-fi and it's really good.

Cozumel, Mexico

Wi-fi is awful. Go across the street to the high speed Internet cafe - $3 for 30 minutes and I think it was $4 for an hour. The port's stores were without wi-fi for 2 days.
