Review summary

The servers are what made this trip tolerable. Food was not what you would expect after being on different cruise lines. Suite was not worth the money, you had to turn sideways to get to seat at end of so called balcony that overlooked a walkway rather than the ocean.Only one working elevator in main part of ship, only one working stall in most of the ladies rooms on several floors. Only one working elevator working that went to our floor which was deck 11. Our suite was never cleaned the final cruise day until the steward went in for the turn down. The personnel at the guest service desk must not have wanted to work that position with the attitude they had with the cruisers. This ship needs a serious renovation, the first thing we heard was from an employee about the one elevator working was "what do you expect, this ship is old."  Due to a medical emergency we had to turn around and go back to Cayman and was told later that night we would not be going to Cozumel which is why everyone was on the ship and was credited 9.95 per person, that's all they thought it was worth. This is totally unacceptable.

I really wanted to do this part of trip, this is what we missed out on. A true medical emergency should have been handled different and not messed up the other 2050 paying customers.

LMAO!!! I thought it was something that the cruise line offered. That's too funny.

Deniseg. Same as the mile high club. Only on our balcony on the boat lol.

The $ 9.95 is not payment for what the port is worth but a refund because the cruise line did not have to pay for that port.

I have found the food on Carnival to be better then the free dining on NCL.  What line had better food ?    When you cruise Carnival you get budget price so you have to expect to get what you pay for.

We were on the Paradise in May. Every elevator bank that we went to had more than 1 working elevator. Our cabin was cleaned twice d

What is this balcony club you speak of? We just booked our 9th cruise and they were all balconies. I know nothing of this club :(

What ship was this on?

The Paradise is an older ship with retrofitted balconies and suites. Booking an obstructed view room is your fault, not Carnivals. Personally we like Paradise fine for a short getaway cruise weekend. But I book balconies on the newer ships so we can continue our membership in the balcony club each time.

I suggest you stay with your other lines. First you should have known the Paradise was an old ship. They have only a hand full of balconies if you were looking for a suite why choose the Paradise? When carnival has wonderful ships with beautiful suites! I have been in the paradise 4 times. It is not my favorite ship but I know when I go on it what to expect
