Review summary

Our philosophy: It's all about the cruise, not where the cruise stops. This was our first "Carnival" cruise. Either Carnival is not the nicest cruise line or the Princess is not their nicest ship. On our Carnival cruise, if you weren't excited about the stops, you had better enjoy siting by the pool or playing ping-pong. We can't be the only ones that associate the idea of a cruise with with the idea of "Luxury". We did NOT get the feeling of luxury. Perfect example: On our past cruises, we would have described the midnight buffet as ice-sculptures surrounded by beautiful, rich displays of fruit, seafood (even caviar), deserts and much more. On Carnival - One ice-sculpture sitting next to a Taco-Bar! Maybe were just spoiled.
