Review summary

everything was excellent with only one exception. the staff were friendly, the food excellent, prices reasonable, entertainment perfect... the only negative was that the club carnival was extremely poor... the counselors that i saw (and i only witnessed those in the 9 yrs age group class) were bored, uninvolved and rude to the kids. poor kids; they should have been having a wonderful exciting time, and instead they were totally neglected by disinterested counselors.

Ensenada, Mexico

we went on the mexican fiesta tour. it was utterly first class. there was a mariachi band (8 or so members), a trio of female dancers, a couple who did a romance dance, a "deer" dancer, a rope swinger, and a solo singer. they also cracked open a pinata... this was a totally no pressure, utterly enjoyable excursion. my son had an absolutely wonderful time, mesmerized by the show and enjoying the pinata. everyone gave of their best, were dressed in their costumes impeccably and were clearly having a good time themselves. first class... congratulations...
Don't Miss: don't miss the mexican fiesta tour.

my five year old and i went on the glass bottom boat... it was a blast, very reasonably priced, and scheduled perfectly to be able to wander around a bit, have a snack on shore, and then get back to the boat.

Pros: that everything was contained into one place: i.e. on the ship!

Cons: the club carnival for kids was extremely weak.
