Review summary

The staff and some of the entertainment was very good. However, I wouldn't book this cruise again with only two port stops for a six-day cruise.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Good

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Same menu for years now. Upcharges now added for items that use to be included.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
We didn't take part in any activities.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Stage shows and DJs were very good. The musicians that performed weren't as good as we've seen on previous cruises. The cruise director Dion was excellent.

Children's Programs

We didn't bring any children.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
They were all excellent and remembered our names.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
All of the areas were constantly being kept clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We've stayed in suites before, but the standard balcony was very comfortable.

Ship tip

Try to book a cabin in the middle of the ship to save on walking to the most popular areas of the ship.

Ports of call

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

4 out of 5
We stayed two consecutive days at this port. We hired a driver after we got off of the ship, who drove us around Cabo and waited for us as we visited a glass factory and had lunch. We had a nice time. However, we stayed on the ship the second day. This port wasn't worth a two day stay in our opinion.

Ensenada, Mexico

3 out of 5
We just walked around the port area and shopped the local merchants.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
It went very smooth.
