Long Beach is closer to the port but costs more to fly to.

Long Beach is much closer to the port and an easy airport to navigate. LAX is a mess. Which is best depends on where you are flying from. IMHO, check for prices to both airports and consider the combined effect of prices and airport hassles. Regardless, all will be better once you are on the ship. 😎

We used LGB. Smaller, more laid back atmosphere, and closer to the port as opposed to LAX, which can be a zoo. It depends on where you are coming in from but for us, flying out of SLC, it was cheaper than LAX, which was a bonus... good luck

You will have many more options and likely lower fares if you fly to LAX.

if you fly out of long beach make sure to use a hard lugage incase it rains. heard of many people getting to the boat and everything is soaked inside suitcase.

We always do just fine flying into LAX. Flights are cheaper and it’s no problem getting to the port from there. Works much better for us
