you need a test that has video visit. test must have Rx on front of package Walgreens otc tests wont work. Carnival has a link for self tests on FAQ mid page.

I was told that the rapid PCR Naat test at Walgreens is acceptable. You will do the test at Walgreens in your car - the tech will watch you do the swab yourself. You will get results in about 2 hours. Walgreens takes appointments a week out so check the calendars for your 2 or 3 days out date from embarkation. My 2 days out is 5/5 so on Thursday I will make my appointment. Hope this helps

edyedith1 Is answering incorrectly and doesn’t appear to have cruised since COVID so may not be familiar with the testing process.

Any Walgreens test is probably a No. Only tests with RX on front of pkg that include a video visit with a person who sees you do the test. Emed or Optum sell tests that includes visit.
