Getting to Garage Parking was terrible, with a big event still in town on Nov 3rd. The elevators were broken on the 4 and 5 floors of the Port of Galveston Cruise Parking
Some shops were closed because it was Sunday. We were the only ship in port; which made for a nice relaxing day walking around over the bridge to the other side. Beautiful and clean port.
The original pier and shops were still damaged/ closed from the hurricane a couple of years ago. Very small market was set up for us that had a fence around us with limited items for sale. I think most people used excursions from the ship here.
