You get what you pay for. The food was okay and the room was clean and comfy. The entertainment was below par. Due to poor weather no outside ship activities could be used so plan way head on when you travel. Pick some sort of event on Catalina because there is not much else to do. If you are okay with a lot of walking then the tours are good because they are small (we had 7 + the driver and the tour guide) just had to walk off the pier to get in tour van.
We have been on other cruise lines and of course this is the least expensive. If you just need a break from the normal everyday then this is fine. If you want more elegancy and entertainment and a bit better food the look at other cruise lines. Remember this company owns most all cruise lines. Overall enjoyable but next time some other ship or destination.
Embarkation

Tore handle off my luggage when they brought it to my room.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
Main dining room was overall good. Bad layout on buffet. food was to be expected, okay.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Due to bad weather the adult pool/spa was unusable. The main pool/spa was very crowded. Roof top B ball and mini golf couldn't be used due to bad weather.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
No bands from USA. Couldn't understand the bands doe to poor English language. Main showroom players were very good but the background effects and stage design were terrible. Only bright spot was the cruise directors true desire for all the guests to enjoy all things.
Service and Staff
1 out of 5
Customer service was terrible. My luggage was broken by them and they said to just "superglue" it. Room porter was as expected. Overall staff was good.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Clean for an older ship. Restaurants in the back half and entertainment in the front half. Buffet was not laid out well. very confusing and long lines.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Enough space to not get claustrophobic. Balcony was nice to have but due to poor weather it was not used much. Clean room. Shower had poor flow and next time I will bring my own shower head. New tv but smaller and they somehow cutoff anyway to attach a cable to watch anything from my laptop. Not many channels and half were their channels. Small fridge worked good. King bed was comfy. lots of storage space just needed more coat hangers.
Ship tip
Pick which events onboard that you want to do ahead of time as things roll right into the next thing. We missed a few shows and events as something was else starting before the one we we at.
The parking is bad. They now make you park at the convention center instead of right there at the multi story parking garage. Someone said that because they were running multiple ships the staff was using the parking structure. We got lost trying to find the parking and it is $20 per day. For all the money we paid out for this trip the could have at least paid for our parking.
weather was high 60s and nice. If you do not do any excursions then about an hour or so you are all done as they do not really have anything to do beyond shopping at the high priced shops.
USE THE SHIPS EXCURSIONS UNLESS YOU WANT TO WALK QUITE A WAYS TO THE PRICELINE TOURS. We went to the blowhole and it was low tide so we had to deal with all the aggressive barkers selling their knockoffs. Got a good deal on a cup with our pic made on it and the first restaurant we walked back to was good but DO NOT use their hot sauce as a few got the trots. The ride over there was nice and we saw lots of different things. May look into a week rental in the future to see everything. Cleaned up in the last five years and overall a good visit.
