We have cruised many times and this was not one of the best even for Carnival because:
1. Too many children, most parents did not address behavior, like climbing over and jumping on furniture, running into other passengers.
2. Would be nice if photos were available to view from a kiosk, rather than multiple walls
3. Smoking in casino was awful for non smokers
4. Add ability to add excursions to the Carnival app with a notice 15 min before need to be at meeting location

One issue was stroller left outside rooms in the hall. Would think this is a safety issue and difficult to passengers using assistive devices to pass by

Ship tip
There are a lot of children under age 5 or are not well behaved. Worse the parents allowed it. No non smoking area in casino. Had to walk through the second hand smoke to get anywhere from the front the shop where our room was located. Ship follows shop time when in port - not emphasized enough.
Port was very nice. We did the sting ray excursion. The experience was great, the staff (bus driver, guide and boat staff) were Ok. Very little interaction with guests. Guide spent entire time on her phone going out to the location. Once we got there it was like get in the water, take photos and lets get going. Very little information about the island or sea life. Driver only pointed out all the place to go to eat.
