Review summary

We have been on the Miracle before and enjoyed this cruise as we did the last one. We do have major complaint, dress code enforcement in the dinning room. It not just on this ship but all of yours. We follow the dress code for dinner but there are always those that do not. Wearing hats at the table, t-shirts and inappropriate pants. When questioning the staff why they do not say anything, the answer is usually we do want to hurt any ones feeling. Actually you hurt our feelings because we follow the dress code I do not like sitting next to someone that is disrespectful and wearing a hat and is not dressed properly. In regards to another matter, the last 3 cruises with Carnival we have tried to buy Bacardi flavored rum and none was available. Need to better stock your ships. We have taken ten cruises with you and have three more cruises scheduled, after that we are thinking of moving to another cruise company.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
When we got on board our room was not completely finished. Our room stewards Sumarni and Putra worked effortlessly to finish it. Our first night in the dinning room did not go good at all with My Time Dinning. We had asked for lemon for our water, which came as we got up to leave. Our food was not hot and we ordered creamed spinach and mac & cheese which came when we finished eating. Creamed spinach was cold, mac & cheese was like a soup. We spoke with the Maitre d Adrian, he was concerned with the service we had received. The next night and every night after that we had a fantastic team of waiters. Team Headwaiter Imam, Team Waiter Armand and Asst. Team Waiter Gusti worked together like they were one. Fantastic. We also had them for breakfast in the Bacchus dinning room. Jr, Hostess Tanusree was so pleasant and greeted us every night with a smile and remembered our names. Upon leaving the dinning room she always had time to which us well.

Part of my fun is getting formal night pictures, dressing up can be fun. I don't usually care what others are wearing, dressing up can mean different things to different people, but the basic dress code at least should be respected, it does exist. There's other food options for people that don't want to swap out their flip flops:)

I tend to agree with JT1962. I'm on vacation and don't let other people's attire bother me, I just enjoy the dinner. We often travel with a large group and some love to dress up every night, others prefer going a bit more casual which allows them to enjoy more of the daytime activities before dinner. :) It seems even on land, restaurant dress codes are relaxing.

Glad you enjoyed it. As far as dress code, I have never Understood why it bothered some people so much about what other people wore. I tend to wear business casual type attire on every night, but it does not bother me for someone to have on shorts, tank tops and flip-flops. I am much more offended by those around me who are overly loud, use foul language, drinking too much or laughing loudly to the point it disturbs everyone around them.
