Overall nice even with the problems stated above. Unfortunately would have naturally given higher marks if not having to deal with the issue with the bingo MC.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
Why have check in times when guests scheduled for later than you are already seated?
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Food was good at buffets, even better in main dining. Would have been much better if dinner wasn’t usually served cold.
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
Bought and played one session of bingo but was charged for two. Bingo MC would not admit that someone in his charge had made a mistake. Had to deal with this issue morning of disembarkation for over an hour. Bingo MC was not very accommodating at all. Had to express how displeased I was with Carnival and would not be cruising with them again before he would credit my sail and sign card. All over $60. Unacceptable.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Room stewards are very nice. Waiters slightly above normal. Bingo MC unprofessional and rude which have already alluded to previously.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Yes clean and well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Stateroom nicely cleaned ever day. Bed was comfortable. Balcony nice although rail is right in line of sight for average person sitting.
Cruise director said area was not very safe. That’s a shame. Would have done more. Did river cruise only to fill up time ashore since cruise director said not much to do there and being unsafe. Again water taxi not ideal.
We invested in the Casino $55 and walked way with $2225 ..:-) happy days paid for the rest of our vacation but it's the chance you take you win some and loose some as long as you know your limit...
There seems to be a consistency with people posting issues with being overcharged at bingo. Just a lesson for others, stay away from the casinos and bingo games on the ship. They are nothing but a way for the ship to make a lots of extra money. I don’t think they intentionally overcharge people, but there can be confusion. And then people wind up leading $20-$60 ruin their vacation.
