Review summary

This was an awesome cruise! We were able to visit 2 ports that we had not previously been to - Belize and Mahogany Bay. We had been to Honduras, but docked in Roatan the last time, so this was a different area with many different views! We enjoy cruising for the pleasure of ‘unplugging’ from the real world. We turn our phones on airplane mode when we pull out the first day and leave it on until the cruise is over! We just use our phones for taking pics and using the ship maps, options, etc.

Embarkation

Good, only waited about 20 minutes before boarding.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food in the MDR was amazing! We didn’t eat in any of the specialty restaurants. The pizza wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but the guys were amazing and always willing to make me one to order, so no complaints!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The Spa services were awesome. My massage specialist was Noxie and she was amazing! Every treatment was top notch!!

Entertainment

3 out of 5
I’m only giving 3 stars due to the Love & Marriage show which we always enjoy immensely! The other shoes were very sub-par. The singers were not good at all, and it was almost laughable. We never stayed for an entire performance, it was just painful. ;(

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward Agus was super! Waiters Natalyia & Sudibia were good as well! As mentioned above, Noxono in the Spa was simply amazing!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It’s an older ship and had a few flaws but over all, we just enjoyed the trip!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Comfy & clean! It’s small but just as expected for a cruise ship. The balcony seemed very small compared to other ships we’ve been on!

Ship tip

Enjoy and have a super fun vacation!

Ports of call

George Town, Grand Cayman

We didn’t do an excursion this time but have in times past. This is one of our very favorite ports! We feel very safe here!

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
We took the Magic Flying Carpet (sky ride) to Mahogany Bay beach at $14/per person. You can walk it for free but we loved the view from the air! Beach was pretty crowded. Some chairs are reserved but there’s a lot available first come, first serve. We walked to the very end of the beach, down the pier and my husband snorkeled (no charge) from there and got some amazing pics of coral, fish & eels!

Belize City, Belize

5 out of 5
This was our favorite excursion on this cruise! We did the ‘Spectacular Snorkel to Rendezvous Caye with lunch” excursion purchased on the ship. They picked us up ship-side (as you have to tender in Belize), and we took a 45 minute boat ride to a private island (Rendezvous Caye) that was simply breathtaking! We spent 2 hours there, then 45 minutes back to the boat. I’ll do this excursion again and highly recommend it!!

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
We always enjoy Cozumel. We didn’t do an excursion this time, just walked around and shopped.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
It was ok. Not the best. On other ships, once we have been cleared for debarkation, if you’re carrying off your own luggage, we are normally off the ship within 20 minutes. It took over an hour.
