Review summary

This was our first summer cruise and didn't know what to expect. We are gold VIFP members of Carnival so this wasn't our first Carnival cruise. We have been pleased with Carnival until this cruise. The ports were great and made up for the lack of quality entertainment and food. We had a balcony room which was a good size. Our cabin steward was great and helped us with the lack of only having one plug in the room to charge anything, he hooked us up with a three plug adaptor. If this would have been our first cruise on Carnival I would never cruise with them again, but because it wasn't, I would just make sure to go on a newer ship like the Breeze, Dream or the Horizon.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
The main dinning room food was good but the room itself was quite ugly. The buffet dinning options were the worst I have ever seen. I did love the continuous flow of ice cream though.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
There were no tournaments of any kind on this ship and I will never understand why these ships put ping pong tables outside with no wind blockage.

The elevators were the best of any ship I have been on. There was always a very short wait for an elevator.

We agree. The Miracle really needs and update, or an iceberg! The staff tried hard, but you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear!

This is true, freedom has the USB now. Very handy!

Only the Vista and Horizon right now have more than 1 North American outlet in the cabin. There is the trickle charger outlet in the bathroom on most Carnival ships. I have heard though on the all the ships as the nightstand lamps die, they are being replaced with new ones that have USB connections to charge electronics.
