Review summary

Most of my comments are already listed. The reason I gave disembarkation only 1 star was again because of Faster to the Fun. We were told to go to the dining room to be able to leave early, which we did about 8am. The problem I had was we were also in line with people who didn't have Faster to the Fun. I feel my money was wasted.

I purchased the Faster to the Fun and didn't realize my luggage tags weren't marked with the Faster to the Fun symbol. While my room was ready when I got on the boat I didn't receive my luggage until 5:30pm.

The food on the Miracle wasn't up to par with other Carnival Ships I have cruised on. The buffett for dinner was the same food being served in the dining room, so why waste the time in dining room when you can go elsewhere. Some of the dinner were better than others but that satisfaction was taken away with the not so good service on some nights.

My friends and I discussed how the stateroom guys weren't as attentive as others in the past. I had to ask for dry towels and had to go find another stateroom guy and ask for toilet paper because ours wasn't refilled.

Ship tip

Bring motion sickness medication EVEN IF you have never got sick. This ship is small and narrow and we felt vibrations on every floor we sat on. The dining room was terrible with motion and vibration, especially in the front.

Our group did Cave tubing with lunch. The excursion was awesome BUT the long bus ride there was just that, too long. The port isn't very pretty and you have to tender to the island.

All of my group (about 25) went to French Little Key and once there we all wished we would have skipped Belize totally and spent 2 days here. This port was too short (only about 5 hours once off the ship) and rushed.

Were the other cruisers platinum or diamond? They get early debarkation. And, if you have an early flight, Carnival will put you in zone 1 to try and help you make it. And, as someone else pointed out, some return ports do have excursions that you can book and those people generally debark first as well.

Were they people who had carnival excursions booked? I was wondering how that would work. We leave in 2 weeks and have an excursion booked.
