Review summary

Carnival was as advertised-geared towards family. We had 800 kids on our boat. A lot of big family groups celebrating graduations. Ship’s common areas were in very good shape except for dining room which was hideously decorated - grape theme. A bit disappointed with communication on board. Could never hear announcements. PA system went completely out during debarkation. Food was good in dining room, average on lido deck. Thought there would be more restaurants because of discriptions but they were just different stations on lido deck. Really just lido deck buffet, dining room and steakhouse. Overall price Point was good and the ports of call were all great.

King David’s Tour to Mayan Ruins and Cave Tubing. Had a private tour with an amazing guide, Javier. The sites and cave tubing experience was first rate.

Did an excursion With Routan Ocean Adventure. Went to Daniel’s Monkey and Sloth Hang-out-super fun. Then snorkeling to two stops near French Key. The tour was great. Excellent job by the team.

George Town, Grand Cayman

Went on snorkeling tour with Aquarius Water Tours. Captain Mario took us to 3 stops -secret Garden, Starfish Point and Stingray City. Crew made sure you had everything you needed for a great snorkeling tour. They kept an eye on everyone in the water. Only had 26 on tour so you were not herded like cattle. Would highly recommend.

I actually kind of liked the Bacchus dining room theme. Th grapes were for the god, Bacchanalia, the god of wine, I think, so it fit.
