I love Carnival, it is our line of choice however this ship should be retired!
Embarkation
1 out of 5
Ship was stuck inp port until almost midnight because it had to be reloaded and there was an event taking place in Tampa Bay that did not allow for the ship to pass. It's and annual event in Tampa, you would think someone would have planned that better knowing it.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
Not impressed with any of the dining areas, been on many carnival and other brand cruises and this was by far the worst!
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
Small ship, Old Ship, not much to do on board.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
I will say the play list team tried however the "main female singer" could not be understood becuase it sounded like she was screaming most of the time.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
These are some hard working people and it is in no way their fault that this cruise was so bad.
Ship Quality
1 out of 5
OLD....OLD.....OLD It was clean but that did nothing to help the fact that it is outdated and boring!
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Standard Cruise cabin, they are all the same
Ship tip
Renovate, get some better activities, and more options for the passengers.
Just a tip on Belize... Take an excursion away from the port - we agree that there is nothing there. I am sure that will change in years to come, but the ports you like have been developed for many years - exception is the new Mahogany Bay, heads and shoulders over the older Coxen Hole!! Belize is fairly new to the game! Lots of Mayan ruins, eco-tours, etc. We have had some wonderful times there. Have patience with the Port of Tampa... the Captain cannot go or come without the Port Authority approval, then cannot unload luggage until they say so. We had the same issue a couple of weeks ago. Grab a coffee and chill!! On the ship, we choose Spirit class ships because they ARE smaller, are easy to get around, and are is great shape considering they have 2,000 guests a week and are over 10 years old. Love the Miracle and her sister Spirit ships! Do some research before you book and you can find a great fit!
