Review summary
This was our first cruise so we don't have anything to compare it to but we had a great time. We weren't disappointed by anything. We were really glad that we spent the extra money for the balcony. Without the balcony it would have been an entirely different experience. The food was actually pretty good. The service was excellent!
We enjoyed Puerta Vallarta and would highly recommend the Tequila Factory tour. Loved the tour guide (Pepe). Just wished we would have had more time on the second day because we saw some things that we would have liked to visit on our own, but we didn't have enough time.
The time in Cabo was very limited so we took a tour (Land's End, Beach & Shopping). The tour was okay but nothing to rave about. It served the purpose of insuring we could see a few things and still get back to the ship on time. The tour guide (Oscar) was extremely hard to understand. His English was okay but he talked so fast you couldn't really understand him.
The entertainment on the ship was pretty marginal. Their evening shows weren't very good. Considering how many highly talented people they are it seemed funny that they couldn't hire people that could actually sing. The comedians at the Comedy club were really good so we enjoyed those performances.
We enjoyed the sea days but it would have been better if we could have had some sort of entertainment available. This is a pretty small ship so I guess they consider trivia and bingo entertainment.
Overall it was a great experience and we will do another cruise next year. We did this one to as a trial to see if we would enjoy cruising. We did so our next cruise will be in Europe.
