Review summary
This was our 3rd Carnival Cruise with 19 - 20 people each time. The first 2 were ok, but this one was the worst. Many of the staff were very rude!. The housekeeper never came to one of our rooms the last 2 days of the trip. It was supposed to be a family oriented cruise and was not kid friendly at all. The other two times the kids could not wait to go to Camp Carnival and this time it was a fight to get them to go. One of my adopted kids who happens to be Mexican was bullied the whole trip in Circle C. I went to guest services to complain about all the racial remarks he was receiving and being targeted by the other kids and was told "sorry you had a bad experience." No offer to talk to the councelors that were in charge who saw what was happening or anything. They did not care at all about what I had to say. One of my other children was upset and crying about what was happening to her brother and another councelor told my 12 year old "lose the attitude and and go cry like a baby somewhere else." The last day of the of my kids was hurt by another kid and the councelor saw it happen and when my kid said something to him he told him "go sit in the corner and cry about it." I had 2 councelors tell 2 of my kid to go cry about it. It doesn't settle well with me. Guess maybe that is in there job description to make kids feel bad! My kid did not tell me about it until we were off the boat and I noticed he was having trouble walking. I asked him what was wrong and he told me this other kid had kneed him in the back and told me what happened. I took him to our doctor when we got home and he as possible a fracture in his back, we are waiting for the results of the xrays. I am NOT impressed at all!!! I probably would have let the racial comments go, but after my child was hurt, I will not stop on this one! I asked him why he didn't say something on the boat because I would have done something about it there. His response was, "they wouldn't do anything about it any way." This was our last Carnival Cruise ever!!! I would not recommend them to anyone. We will be going back to Disney Cruise Line from now on!Ship experiences
