Okay Cruise

Sail Date: May 07, 2010

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

We went on a Royal Carribbean Cruise a year prior to the Carnival cruise, this was our Honeymoon. We chose this because we thought it was molre of a party boat and drew in the younger crowd. But there was still a great deal of older people on the ship. We were a little disappointed. Some of the bar charges were not actually ours and we had to wait to be refunded. Thay also forgot it was our Honeymoon and we did not recive the "present" we were supposed to from them. So disappointing.

Pros: The islands were all stunning

Cons: Bored on the Sea Days nothing for our age to do during the day. It was either for older people or really young but nothing for in between. Like 21-27.

Recommends Carnival Miracle? No.

The shows at night were just like going to a Broadway show but doring the day there was nothing to do we really had to search for something to do. It made for a long trip
Ship Quality
Royal Carribbean was in much better shape and was keptclean at all times. Sometimes there would be spills on the floor and they would just sit there on Carnival.
Food and Dining
We used the formal dining room most nights but when we did not there were only 2 things to chooses from in the bufet so it sucked. Then room service did not have a lolt to offer either.
Cabin / Stateroom
Bigger then Royal Carribbean.
Service and Staff
Did not get too personal like Royal Carribbean
Nassau, Bahamas
Kind of reminded me of NYC, very busy, made for tourists.
Don't Miss: Hard Rock Cafe
Grand Turk Island
So pretty very happy with the destination.
Don't Miss: Excursions are great.
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
We did not want to leave. The water was so clear and so nice. The island was not built up simply just a day to sit on the beach and relax. Don't forget sunscreen.
Don't Miss: THE BEACH!!
