See all the above, We had a good time. Probably not a cruise line we will sail with again. Not enough things that I enjoy as to entertainment ... it is definitely a party boat cruise and I'm just not there anymore.

We were processed very quickly only one issue. When we arrived at ship with our luggage, we were directed towards an area and were in the process of leaving the luggage when a worker was very aggressive and basically demanded a tip for services. We were concerned that we would not get our luggage so complied. That was something that irritated but did not ruin our cruise.

Food and Dining

Some of the restaurants were difficult to find. We ate at most of them and while the only one that I thought was Excellent as to food was the Steak restaurant and the pizza area. Loved the soft serve ice cream available all the time. The coffee bar was also excellent. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We don't drink alcohol -- so I can't speak to that except that it seems that many do drink and appeared to be having a fabulous time.
Onboard Activities

Loved the spa (had a balcony with spa privileges) We are older and didn't use the pools or hot tubs. We walked a great deal. We also watched others at some of the participation activities. We enjoyed that a great deal. Was very put off by the aggressive selling. Definitely will affect my future cruising.
Entertainment

We were able to attend the comedy shows ... way too brief. In comparison to other cruises, we have been on I was disappointed. We have seen Broadway shows and as we are not drinkers that was something I missed.
Service and Staff

Everyone was excellent as to service and friendliness. The coffee bar staff were tops. Room steward was perfect.
Ship Quality

Everything was clean and well maintained. The layout was Awkard as to finding different venues. Would have liked to look at our bill on the tv in our room instead of finding a kiosk on a different deck near where you were attacked by people selling things. Again it was difficult to find things ... a clear and large print map would have been very helpful.
Cabin / Stateroom

Everything in the room was great. Very clean, loved the balcony. Only issue was the people to the right of us kept smoking pot and cigarettes on the balcony.
Ship tip
If you not a drinker or heavy partier ... this might not be the cruise for you. While we ignored some of the behavior it was hard to ignore the dress or lack of dress in the buffet mostly. I found it disgusting that many were in bathing costumes that definitely belonged at the pool and some I'm not sure they even belonged there.
We are not a fan of Carnival either. It is “cheap” for a reason. We only did a couple cruises with them. The last was disgraceful on their part. We found a much better line, have been with them for over 12 years.
great review. very fair. carnival is definitely more of a party type cruise line. they don't call them the "fun ships" for nothing. definitely not for those that look for a more quiet atmosphere
