I wish the menu could have been changed up a little more, but I’m pretty much a creature of habit and stuck with the foods I know I like. The cakes were very, very good.

Every single crew member we came in contact with was very friendly, smiling and helpful. It’s a shame some guests feel the need to talk to them in such a hateful, irate manor over such petty issues!

I’m a little bias because Magic is my favorite ship. But I feel it was very clean. I’d change the color scheme in the dining room but that’s just my personal preference.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was always very clean. Standard size balcony room. All outlets worked. Would not choose this location again (my fault) due to whirlpool being right outside our balcony, but nice room overall.

Ship tip

Always research the items you can and can’t bring on board. Makes embarkation less stressful and runs more smoothly for everyone involved.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

HMC is our go to destination. Love the beautiful beach! This was our first time experiencing the water shuttle ticket system which I wasn’t too thrilled with. I feel like we missed out on a lot of island time waiting around for our number to be called.☹️. No excursion, just relaxing and snorkeling.

No excursion. Very easy parking with free shuttle to and from port to parking lot. Will definitely use this port more often.

Disembarkation

I feel if guests could just follow directions, disembarkation could go much smoother. The congestion of people standing around by the elevators makes things more hectic and causes way too much congestion. Once we made it downstairs to deck 3, things went smoothly and we we’re out the door and onto shuttle very quickly.
