This cruise was a long time in coming (due to Covid rescheduling) but it was worth the wait! Highly recommend the Southern Caribbean itinerary. We felt the Magic was the perfect ship for this cruise.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Very simple and well organized. Parking at Port Canaveral was a breeze.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We enjoy the meals in both the MDR and the Lido Buffet. Food was tasty at each meal.
We did experience slow service in the MDR the first night which got better over the next severla nights.
Onboard Activities

Entertainment
4 out of 5
Stage shows were alright, but we just didn't care for the lead singer in most of those shows. We actually found it distracting as she was either hard to understand or off key. Singers on stage with her were much better. Performers in the atrium were very good!
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone we had contact with was very pleasant and helpful. Room steward did an excellent job of keeping room clean. Lido dining area staff were amazing, the best we have seen.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
I love the layout of the Dream class which includes the Magic. Staff were cleaning constantly. We were very pleased with the cleanliness.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We loved this cabin. The balcony was large enough for 2 loungers, 2 chairs, and a small table. The views were amazing. While the room was not larger than a standard balcony, it was still plenty spacious for the two of us. Would 100% book this cabin type again. (Note: It is tight between one corner at the foot of bed and the wall, so you have to be careful walking around that spot. Could be a problem for someone with mobility issues.)
Ship tip
Have fun! If at full capacity expect some lines and a few delays, but it wasn't bad overall.
Went to the brand new pool area. Not as much to do as Amber Cover, but does have some great views from some of the lounge chairs. Had to rent an umbrella as shade was very limited. Well worth the $20!
Enjoyed this port. Did an excursion into the island where we saw wild flamingos, donkeys, iguanas, and then had beach time in a beautiful calm cove. Tour guide was a very nice local that was very proud of her island.
Port area looked very nice. Did not do an excursion. Planned to visit a few beaches on our own. Unfortunately, we weren't able to do that due to illness, but we enjoyed seeing the port from the ship.
