Review summary

The entertainment on this cruise was past amazing! We had so much fun at the Lido deck parties and comedy shows! Bingo host Lupy was super awesome as well. In my opinion the evening food for the better part of the week left much to be desired. By day 3 I found myself incredibly exhausted because it was impossible to sleep with the vibrations of the bass coming through my room from whatever music was under us. Had I had prior warning I would have paid more for a different, more peaceful and relaxing space! My last 2 days were almost impossible to get through and I was ready to be home from lack of sleep.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Of course Guy's and Blue Iguana was amazing. Most of the buffet and 2 nights of dinners had 0 flavor. No salt, no pepper. Wasn't until the last night that.they decided to season the food.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We did the rope course and it was fun yet terrifying.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Dj was always on point as well as the violinists. We liked the night show performances as well.

Children's Programs

We didn't have children with us therefore we didn't participate.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Adran from the dining room and Phillip were our servers our last night. We almost didn't go because the pervious 2 nights had been terrible service, couldn't even get a water refill but I'm glad we did. They were on top of their game. So friendly and accommodating. I wish we could have had them every night. By the end of the first day on board Princess Lupy and our room steward had our names memorized. We were greeted by them every day and even had genuine conversations with them. Of course Rico was the best Director we have had on any cruise we have been on!

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
For the most part everything stayed clean. At high travel times it could be hard to get a clean table.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
Cabin was always clean! The issue is, it should come with a disclaimer! The entire day in to late hours we could feel music vibrations from the base of whatever lounge or venue was under our room! When we tried to get to bed early for next day port it was impossible to sleep with all the noise! I hated that room.

Ship tip

Don't get room 6255 unless you don't want to sleep until past midnight.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida Did not visit port

It was just a means to get on and off the ship.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

3 out of 5
We loved the beautiful beach and the food was good. I wish there were more things to do and more places to shop. We felt like we had to stay on that crowded beach the whole time which was nice until it felt like 110 degrees on your skin.

Grand Turk Island

2 out of 5
We did the food and culture tour which was ok. This island is completely run down and has very little to offer unfortunately. The people were friendly and the beach was amazing but I wouldn't visit again

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

4 out of 5
We went to Coconut cove. The entire thing felt rushed. We were made to believe we would have 2 to 3 hours on the beach and it was more like 1 and a half. I would go back to the DR but not on a cruise to this port.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy and free flowing. No hold ups
