Review summary

2nd cruise on Carnival Magic! Favorite ship so far! Great family Christmas cruise! 8 of us total. Enjoy Red Frog Pubs!

Embarkation

Getting through the terminal and onto the ship was quick and easy. The difficulty getting to the parking garage after dropping luggage off with porters was a big mess! The shuttle and charter busses were blocking vehicle traffic trying to get to the garage.

Was able to move through buffet without too much trouble considering that it was full capacity on-board. Never had a problem getting drinks at the bars. Plenty of staff. Didn't go to main dining room. Enjoyed Italian for lunch, tacos and guys burgers and BBQ! Did sea day brunch.

First time in Cove balcony, and I would recommend it and do it again. Really nice being close to the water!

Another beautiful place to enjoy the day! Spend the day at Margaritaville! DJ was fantastic, very enthusiastic, entertaining, and did a great job!

I’m glad you enjoyed your second Carnival Magic cruise. The Magic is a great experience and the ports you visited are our favorites. We cruised on the Magic this past May are will enjoy our second cruise on the Magic in May 2023. 😎

Glad you enjoyed! We love the Magic too. We’ve considered Cove balcony but we’re afraid the balcony door might get locked in ‘rough’ seas 🌊 so haven’t tried it.

Not a fan of the Amber Cove port. It's definitely the place you want to spend money and go do something.
