Over all it was a good vacation. Don’t limit yourself to staying in the ports. Cruisers and staff alike are pretty friendly and make the experience that much better.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Main Dining room gets 5 stars. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They even did some dancing. The food was terrific!! Buffet was very good as well, though no dancing. Guy’s pig and Anchor gets a zero. The meats and the sides looked like they had been sitting out for a long time, and my chicken had a bunch of feathers on it.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
The pools close too early. Fitness center was really nice and had a great view. I loved and really miss the cloud 9 Spa. Water slides were very bumpy. Bingo costs extra. I really wanted to check out the free giveaways and the singles mixers but they were canceled at the last minute.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Some of the shows were really good, some not so good. Eli Jaxon at the Piano Bar was fun.
Children's Programs
4 out of 5
My son was very happy with the teen club just wish they would have stayed open the whole cruise.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Room steward was very good. Dining room staff was excellent, security staff was excellent, medical staff was not.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
It was pretty clean but cruisers left cups everywhere. Someone spit a bunch of sunflower seeds into the main pool.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
It’s a good size cabin. Beds were comfy. Shower stall kept overflowing during use, tub worked better till the stateroom attendant took the shower head for cleaning and didn’t return it. Lights took their time turning on. The door to the cabin was very heavy, and even slammed close on my arm. When I first got to my room I noticed finger prints on the bathroom mirrors, and on the window. Also found someone’s hair on the window sill and something spilled. Other than that it was very clean.
Ship tip
Don’t eat at Guy’s Pig & Anchor, and avoid medical at all costs.
The ports were all the same, clean but very touristy. Expensive little shops everywhere. We took our own excursion and got to see the real Dominican Republic.
