We had a family vacation cruise on Carnival Magic. Everyone had a great time. Magic is big enough to have all the amenities but not so big that you get lost or can't do everything you want. The food in the MDR was great for all the meals we had there. Plenty of fun for all members of the family with all of the shows, pools, games, sports, and trivia. Our ports of call of Nassau and Half Moon Cay were very enjoyable. The service throughout the ship was outstanding! We had such a good time that we booked another family vacation cruise for this summer.

We spent a little time waiting with the line not moving, but once they got us going we got through embarkation and onto the ship with no problems.

We ate dinner every night in the MDR and all meals were very enjoyable. The seaday brunch in the MDR is great. We had breakfast in both the MDR and at the Lido buffet. The MDR breakfasts were very good; the buffet breakfast had many options and is of typical buffet quality. We enjoyed many delicious burgers at Guy's Burger Joint.
Onboard Activities

Plenty of fun things to do on Carnival Magic. The sail-away party had everyone ready to cruise! We also took advantage of the mini-golf, pool tables, ping pong, pools, and hot tubs. The deck parties were a blast!
Entertainment

We went to the stage shows every night--Welcome Aboard, 88 Keys, Love & Marriage, and America Rocks. Every one was great. We also enjoyed the comedians in the comedy club. As on most ships, the comedy venue is on the smaller side, so get there early if you want to ensure you get a seat.
Service and Staff

Service throughout the ship was outstanding. We had an exceptional cabin steward--Wayan from Indonesia. He was always around and made sure we had everything we needed or wanted. We enjoyed talking to him and learning about his family and his home. Arsen, our server in the MDR was excellent! Gary the CD was incredible!

The ship was in great shape. The crew kept it very clean. Staff could be seen at all hours and in all areas of the ship cleaning and wiping down all sufaces.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was very comfortable. Plenty of closet and storage space. The couch provides a nice seating area. The bed is very comfortable. Spending time on the balcony is plus!
Ship tip
Guy's Pig & Anchor has great food but very limited hours. Pay attention to when it's open if you want to get some food there.
We had an excursion to Blue Lagoon Island for the dolphin encounter. The boat ride to Blue Lagoon is about 30 minutes. The dolphin encounter was fun. We had access to the beach for the entire day. The entire family enjoyed this excursion.
Half Moon Cay is the perfect beach destination. The sand is like powder and the water is clear blue. I'm not really a beach person, but even I love this island. The included lunch served on the island is good, not great, but is fine for the venue.
We were in no hurry to leave. We enjoyed breakfast in the MDR, then found a comfortable place to sit and wait for our debarkation number to be called. Debarkation was orderly and timely.
I’m glad you enjoyed a great family cruise on the Magic. We also felt that the Magic is just the right size. Half Moon Cay is our favorite place. Thank you for taking the time to share your pictures and review.
