Less crowded experience I believe this is the best time to go. Everyone has to get tested before they can get on the ship.

The food was hit or miss. The food we bought from the seafood shack was delicious. Compared to guys burgers the first one was great and the next time it was awful. It wasn’t seasoned at all the burger nor the chili.

Seems like the food you have to pay for is delicious!!!! Only thing we didn’t like was how close the tables were to other people.

Another hit or miss sometimes I got a pizza that was perfectly cooked and the next it would be over cooked. A pizza shouldn’t have a crunch when you bite it!

Breakfast offering were ok, omelette station, deli and the wok place were good. All the cakes tasted liked they had just been un-thawed. There is an apple cobbler type dessert that was off the chain. They only served it one night. Seek out and destroy those chocolate chip cookies. I would have know how go they were if didn’t see it in someone’s review.
Onboard Activities

Saw a great movie that I would have never thought to see. I think it was called Dream?? It’s about a town buying a race horse. Plenty of space no one within 12 feet of you!! You have to pay for the non seasoned popcorn now!!

Communication could have been better we didn’t receive any of our Gold perks. Items I preordered didn’t show up in my room and I waited until the next day to complain. Went to quest services and they immediately got it delivered to our room. Also I don’t know if it’s only on this ship but they had no gold pins and you will have to contact carnival when you get home and they would send them to you. Also you have to go to any bar to get your free liters of water. Which is sneaky cause, it makes you feel like you have to leave a tip on something you get for free.

Nice big ship first time on the magic, plenty of places to hang out without being close to anyone!! Nice smoke free casino on the 4 deck, which was truly a blessing. I thought smoking was temporarily ban in the casino? Nope!!! They a do good of reminding people to wear your mask at all times. Like they say in the casino take a puff and put your mask on and take a sip and put your mask on. They were more relaxed in the casino the first couple of nights then when it announced that several crew members tested positive for Covid. They really started enforcing wearing your mask all the time. The casino has people walking the floor just to wipe down machines when you get up.
Cabin / Stateroom

Great location seconds away from elevators or go up one flight of stairs and your on lido. Room gets very cold and the beds were decent. Also if you walk about a minute down to next elevators it will take you to the casino on 5 and in the middle of buffets on 10.
One of the quicker disembarkation they separated you in two lines once off the boat. One for those using a passport and one for those using other forms of identification. They scan your ship badge and you show your face to camera and boom we were done. Didn’t have to go through customs and we talking amongst ourselves did we really just skip customs??? Yup we did, they told us to turn left if you have a passport and go right for other ids. Those going right looked like they had to go through customs. Off the boat at 8:20am and on the airport shuttle at 8:40am.
