It was our first cruise and we had a blast! We were also being chased by hurricane Dorian but carnival made sure to update us and keep everyone calm! Truly an amazing experience

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining was nice, the first night the food was bland but it continued to get better night after night. Guys Burger Joint has the best burgers my fiancé and I have ever had hands down!!! The sushi was fresh and delicious as well

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There was so much to do onboard! The pools were amazing, the comedy club was hilarious especially the interactive adult rated one. Casino was a huge hangout spot, but absolutely loved the serenity lounge! No kids running around, relaxing, had a bar with great drinks!

Service and Staff

I cannot day enough about he staff! Firstly, Dragan at the casino bar is the BEST bartender. He makes the drinks strong and never ending. He always has your attention and is the funniest guy on the ship. Maynor our room steward was phenomenal! So quiet and polite but always greeted us with a big smile and asked how everything was going. Made such cute towel animals too. Simon the cruise director was outstanding. Honestly no bad employees! The were all 10/10

Honestly love the cove balconies. Very private. No one can see you from any angle. It was nice to sit on the balcony in peace. The room was a good size. The only thing was we couldn’t hear announcements in our room

Ship tip

Get faster to the fun if you’re not platinum! Saves a lot of time

Ports of call

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

Best port for beach day! Beautiful beach! Water was crystal clear and perfect temperature! The crab legs were heavenly at the seafood shack and the bars were good too (they are run by the bartenders on the ship since it is carnivals private island)

Grand Turk Island

Such a fun place! All the shops are fantastic and margaritaville was a blast. There’s a really cute bar on other side which has a sign as self serve bar(it’s not) but it’s cute, less crowded and great drinks. I believe it’s called the beaches whale. We also did the adventure combo excursion! 10/10 would recommend. Great tour guides, they make it exciting, fun, and punctual. We went zip lining, horseback riding, drive dune buggies on the beach, and went snorkeling. It was sad to see how the rest of the island lives since they get hit by a hurricane almost every year. Made us appreciate what we have to come home to.
