The Carnival Magic is a terrific ship. Our party of seven had a fabulous time. The time went way too fast and that is because the crew kept the fun flowing. Thank you Carnival Magic Crew. I look forward to cruising on this fun ship again!

We absolutely loved the Italian Specialty Restaurant and the Steak House. The staff were top notch and the food was so delicious we chose to go to each restaurant several times.

My family loved the nightly shows. The performers were true professionals and I think each of them would be big stars on Broadway. The Sea Monkey band was fantastic too. They had us dancing every night! My family also loved the kareoke and all the pools and water slide too.

The stage shows were incredible. We loved the Atrium music/activities in which everyone was dancing, singing and having a fabulous time. Simon London, Cruise Director made every moment so much fun! The Sea Monkey band is so great. They are true performers and had all of us dancing!

Everything deck was clean and well maintainedl. We had a Grand Suite and it was so nice to have so much closet space.
Cabin / Stateroom

The room was terrific. We loved the space, closets and tub. The only downside was the pull out bed. I think the mattress needed to be replaced due to a big slump in the middle. This did not take away from the fun time we had though. Julio ensured our room was spotless every day!
Ship tip
Get a seat early at the nightly shows. The cast is so fantastic that the seats fill up quickly. Also, be sure to eat at the Italian and Steakhouse restaurants. The are superb!
The island is beautiful and there are plenty of chairs to sit on the beach. We were disappointed that our snorkle trip was canceled. There was no rain and the water was calm. Having been snorkeling several times, I was surprised they cancelled saying it was a current issue. Some people in our party did go horseback riding and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Grand Turk Island is beautiful. We took the cataman snorkeling tour and it was fantastic. The snorkeling was wonderful and the private beach was nice too. The crew kept the rum punches coming and we all loved the dancing on the boat.
What a wonderful day! Our guide/hostess "Momma" is a pure delight! We had an air-conditioned ride to a private beach and Momma told us so many interesting facts about the Dominican Rebuplic. There were only 15 people on this tour so we basically had the beach to ourselves. We all loved the yummy buffet they made for lunch. My kids loved swimming and kyaking. Please ignore any negative reviews about the beach or ride to the resort. The ride is cool and Momma makes it so fun. Old reviews say the beach is on a hill. This is not true. There is a small slope going to the water. It is so much easier to get to the beach than any I have been to in NJ or NY. Seven people were in our party and we all had a perfect day!
The disembarkation was a bit slow but only because people didn't follow the ships instructions on disembarkation times. Despite this, the ship managed everything very well.
