I think I said it all above. Carnival must be trying to save $$ by cutting corners and quality.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
This is my 4th cruise with Carnival and I have to say The food was not good. The food that you paid for at restaurants was better, but the free food had no taste and I was sorely disappointed. On the buffet it looked like mush. I will consider another cruise line in the future for that reason. We would plan to eat in Port just so we didn’t have to eat the cruise ships food.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
The salt water pools were so salty that it burned your eyes terrible when splashed. My granddaughter got splashed in the eyes, I had to lift her up and put her on the side of the pool while I ran and got her a towel because her eyes burned so bad along with mine.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
A couple singers could not sing reach the notes and one show was super confusing that none of us enjoyed that night.

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
My granddaughter loved Camp Ocean.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Good service every where.

Ship Quality

Yes

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
I was disappointed with the size of the cabin. In the future, I would just stick with regular balcony cabin. Not worth the extra money.

Ship tip

Buy food from restaurants, free food was not good at all.

The pool water is from the ocean. Don’t think they have any control over how salty the water is.

All companies are trying to cut corners to save money to stay competitive and still make money. Most People are used to lower prices and balk at paying more, so they have to cut costs to stay in business.

I seriously don’t think the water in the pools are any more salty than other cruise ship pools out there. All comes from the same ocean. And the food on this ship was awesome. The ship itself is very cheap compared to their older ships.
