Review summary
I just don't know how or where to start my family and I had never experienced a cruise as horrible as this one, I called and talked to a supervisor just yesterday and also spoke to two other people this is just how horrible I think carnival is when I spoke to the first person and told her I would like to speak to a supervisor I was told there was no such person then after we hung up I called back and spoke to someone else as I was not getting anywhere I was told that I could not be compensated for all the troubles and was told pretty much the same thing I then asked to speak to a supervisor, because I know for a fact everyone has someone higher then them in a business for the simple fact my husband and I own two businesses there is always a president, supervisor, manager etc. What I'm getting at here is that my family and I came back from the cruise more stressed out and upset then before we stepped aboard Carnival Magic. It's sad we saved for this cruise and worked very hard all year to save up for a cruise on Thanksgiving week, we drove 15 hours just to get to florida when the same cruise can be taken out of Baltimore MD. We strictly did not want to go to the Bahamas, we have been there and it was not the best place and I did not want to go back. We paid $ 4,513.36 to visit Grand Turk and Dominican Republic, it was upsetting we just went right past the island and went straight to Nassau, Bahamas due to the captain's request of docking and safety precautions. What I don't understand is how the other ships were docking and we just headed straight out into 40 mph winds. The captain was always behind on time and just needed to get closer to Port Canaveral for his convenience. While stuck on the ship my family and I mostly stayed in our cabin due to the fact there was not much to do, swimming was not in our favor due to the fact babies were sitting in the pool and hot tubs with diapers urinating in the pools and hot tubs that was just unsanitary. Kids were walking around touching all the food, rubbing their hands that they just sneezed in on the fresh fruit and holding the serving spoons not sanitizing before they ate. My husband has a nasty cold due to all the germs. I saw the staff blowing their nose right before making food, level one and two smelled of solid waste. Kids running around knocking into everyone elderly people falling getting hurt busting their arms open and bleeding due to kids dropping ice that had melted on the floor, the jewelry safe in our cabin was faulty I had to request a locksmith to come to our room to get it unlocked. I spent a lot of time standing in guest services fixing problems, my son's key tag did not work our dining was set to sit with other guest we requested a private table. The buffet was always so crowded we had to wait in line just to get lunch because the buffet was open at certain hours. We have made it a tradition that every year we would take a cruise we have been doing this since 2011 and never had a problem. I don't see us going on another Carnival cruise in the future it was that bad my family and I could not wait to get off.

My family and I had the worst time you will end up sick with a cold at the end of the cruise due to people not sanitizing and lack of hand washing. the captain was very behind on time never made it to Grand Turk that is what we paid for with all the troubles I was told I could not be compensated
