Review summary
I neglected to mention in my earlier review that we thoroughly enjoyed our head waiter in the Southern Lights Dining room (early dining). Her name was Bianca and she was from Romania. Her husband Stephan works for the Art Auction company on board the ship as well. We had a Cove Balcony cabin #2288 on deck 2 and our room steward Augus was fantastic. He kept our cabin so clean and left us a cute towel art animal every night on our bed along with a piece of chocolate for each of us. On the last night of the cruise me made us a giant heart out of towels. We were given the royal treatment throughout our stay on the ship and I would recommend the Carnival Magic to everyone. Overall, we had a great cruise experience and can't wait to do it again.Ship experiences

Ship tip
The ship is huge and you will get turned around -- a lot. Even after a week on board we were constantly going the wrong direction and felt like a couple of salmon. You get used to it though and if you aren't too embarrassed to ask, the crew will cheerfully straighten you out.
