Review summary

This cruise was good, mainly because I had fun with my family. It was very crowded, long wait for everything. Poor communication for excursion to Atlantis although Atlantis water park was fun. They give limited time at Atlantis, leaving for park at 10 am even though it opens at 9, over 1 hour to get there and check in and last transport out at 430 pm. The day at sea was only ok, advise to opt for private island instead so that you have things to do.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Went really smoothly, heads up that there are drug sniffing dogs, a first for me. Some people were pulled out of line.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food was disappointing. The pizza and hamburger places were popular. The seafood place was very good, worth the extra money. However, the rest of the food was uninspired, bland, often cold. Portions were small at sit down restaurants. The buffet had limited choices and again wasn't great.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Decent arcade, though some games that didn't work. Mini golf half shut down during the "golf tourney". Only 2 ping pong tables, which were popular for day at sea. Water slide was very popular. Movies at sea was good.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Decent comedians, singers in main area were great but poorly advertised. Only knew they were there because passed them on the way to dinner.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Crew was very friendly and hard working.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
People were cleaning constantly but the ship appeared old, needs updating, several popular attractions closed for repar.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Twin beds connected but gap between them. Couch in room which was helpful. Balcony was relatively shallow and needed a good cleaning. Shower in both my and my sons' room constantly overflowing onto the floor, which was very annoying. Safes appeared old, and were locked by swiping a credit card, which is inconvenient because you then have to carry a credit card around. It would make more sense to close with room card or combination. First time I've ever seen that.

Ship tip

Not well laid out. Entertainment not as fun as other "fun ships"

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

4 out of 5
Large port, 45 minutes from MCO.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Lots of improvements at port including shopping area, food, museum.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Much slower than embarking but no big problems.
