Review summary

Carnival does not have the best food, and does not seem to have enough open serving stations to handle the number of passengers., especially on the first day after embarkation. Extremely long lines and not enough tables. Not a pleasant way to begin a cruise. Also extremely long waits for the elevators because so many were being used to deliver luggage.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
This was our second cruise with Carnival and I am not impressed. The stateroom was clean, but the common areas, and especially the windows are not. The layout of the Liberty is AWFUL! Not being able to navigate across decks 3 and 4 is very aggravating. Having to go to deck 5 and then back to 3 is ridiculous and made the whole cruise very stressful!

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The staterooms need more electrical outlets. Having to ask for an extension cord and surge protector strip to plug in 2 CPAP machines, and then worrying about tripping on a wire when walking around the room is worrisome.

Very gGlad we had our passports and did not have to wait in the long line to show our driver's license.

I love the Liberty ship but do agree the food quality sucks and also there's not enough dining choices open for the entire ship. I had to wait an hour just to get a deli sandwich because everyone was on line since the buffet was shut down and the whole ship was still hungry at 9pm. They really do need more venues open for food in the evenings so the whole ship doesn't have to stand at the deli.

Too bad they can’t read this unless they also have a shipmate account. Unfortunately, all too many ships have many of the same issues and if you are talking about no deck 3 direct access to the aft dining room, then don’t bother to sail again, most ships are that way due to the design of the deck 3 galley and midship dining rooms. Wonder why that made the trip stressful? Weird. I just plan ahead and get one of the middle dining rooms.
