You get what you pay for. Cheap cruise with money hungry employees. Service not good, dining room was nice but the food was worse than the burger joint (which was good). Rooms were nice but didn’t feel clean enough. Felt like you had to be an alcoholic to enjoy

Service and Staff

Got the soda pass and no one seemed to want to help get me a drink. Whoever at the bar was asked last and sometimes stood for 15 minutes just for them to hand me a soda. Our waiter at the dining room even rolled his eyes. They only want alcohol as they can be tipped. Waiter for dinner was hardly attentive and had to be helped from other waiters and then he expected an additional tip from the one they automatically take out of your bank account. Cleaners didn’t change our sheets so we slept in sand. Had a noise in our room and even after getting a “manager” or whoever higher up to come in to take a look just shrugged it off and basically didn’t seem to care since we only had two nights left.

Layout fine but hours for food (burgers, sandwiches, etc) not open long enough and ice cream always broken

Comfortable, spacious, only one outlet which is one European, and one American.
Ship tip
Expect lots of people, workers in your face with alcohol and asking for help but not receiving any
They drop you off in the lions den. You get surrounded by locals trying to get money, with police officers standing guard as they are right at the police station. Beaches VERY hard to find and the locals don’t take you directly to the beach. Took us two hours and then just went to a hotel beach that we technically shouldn’t have but no one cared.
We’ve sailed on the Liberty twice. I will agree the ship needs updating however the service was excellent both times. I am sure had you asked your steward if they could change the sheets they would have. The employees on cruise ships work their tails off and deserve every penny of the included gratuities. I don’t get why people complain about the tips. I have never experienced any server or any other crew member expecting an extra tipi. They are always grateful when we do tip them extra.
Tips go a long way. Calling hardworking people money hungry is extremely insulting and shows me what kind of person you. You’re definitely not someone who’s review will determine if I cruise a specific line or ship. Do you have any idea, or even care how long those people are away from their families, the fact that they work long hours, 7 days a week? No, you don’t care. Show a little respect and your experience will change greatly.
Ummm you took a 3 or 4 day booze cruise.... experienced cruisers know better... you live you learn. As far as the sheets, they don't change them daily .. it's kind of your responsibility as an adult to shower sand off before bed🤷♀️
We are going on this ship in August and I will see for myself what it will be like as we never went on the ship before. I'm sorry you didn't have the right service and they do not change the sheets but if you want them changed please ask. There is only one time a day that they clean the cabin and if you need more service you can definitely ask. The last cruise I took was with Norwegian Cruise line on the getaway and I would leave notes for things that I needed In the bathroom.
It's a shame about the bar service and yeah alcohol is very expensive but I will definitely buy the soda package but they do not have self-service soda machines. The bartender should treat everybody the same way.
