Review summary

The trio was our first cruise and our last. The weather was horrible. Wasn’t able to port on day 1 and day two was cancelled so we had to go back to day 1’s port (Nassau) and it poured the entire time. The ship swayed so bad and you couldnt enjoy outside because it rained the whole trip. So many people talked about how bad the trip was and how it was their worst cruise. My family was so discouraged. I waited years to take a cruise.

That's terrible. The weather is one thing but the food was bad? I'd be furious

Weather is always the wild card in any vacation on land or at sea - it can make or break a vacation. Don't let the weather discourage you. The weather system you experienced was kind of an anomaly. Perhaps a cruise that is a little longer would be beneficial in the future - you would go further from the Continental US, and the Captain would have a better chance of avoiding any systems. Last year, we took back to back cruises in September and "did a dance" with 2 hurricanes that impacted Florida. We had only 1 day I would consider a rain-out out of 14 days, and that was the last day before debarkation.
