This cruise was so nice. Can't wait to do it again! Our cabin was next door to the people we were traveling with, which was very convenient. Our travel specialist helped us to pick our rooms. We were more comfortable in our rooms at the center of the ship even though it was loud from the atrium. We used an app for white noise at night to cover it up. The chat feature on the carnival app was worth the $5 to find each other quickly and make plans.
Embarkation

The process was smooth and wait time was quite reasonable.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Excellent food! Great variety of restaurants and menus. It was so clean and nice.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Loads of activities for all ages. The ship is beautiful, so even just sitting on the deck or at the Serenity bar was very pleasant. We played bingo, went to a comedy show, and went to Build A Bear workshop. The staff was very friendly and helpful with questions.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Loved the comedy show with Thomas Brown. It's great that they had a family show and a separate one for adults.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room steward William was wonderful! He cleaned our cabin daily and left us towel animals. He remembered our names from the first day. Waiter Eddie in the Golden Olympian dining room was so friendly and helpful. Our dining experience in Chops Steakhouse was even better thanks to the attention to detail by the wait staff.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The ship is beautifully designed and clean. My only complaint was the occasional sewer smell in the hallway outside our cabin.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our balcony cabin was beautiful with lots of storage and room to move around easily. My son and I were quite comfortable. The beds were clean and comfy. The balcony made the trip even better because we could see the sites and watch the water during the trip. There were times we just relaxed in our cabin and watched the TV and the scenery outside.
Ship tip
The lido deck was confusing when we first arrived. I didn't realize there are multiple restaurant options and seating as one weaves toward the back of the ship. We just went to the first place we saw.
We enjoyed the island. Unfortunately, transport to the island was so inefficient that we missed lunch all together. We didn't know why there was such a long line for tickets to the island before 8 am, but I guess now we know.
It was a bit crazy from everyone trying to get down the stairs and elevators, but they did call by muster stations, and the line moved along fairly quickly.
I believe we did pick the tour time. We were part of a group of 22. Our guide held up a flag so we wouldn't lose him, but he was also careful to keep track of us.
