I finally tried Guy’s Burger Joint. Never really wanted to try it in the past just because there is so much other food that I rather have. Well I didn’t care for the burger at all. It had no taste and was grisly. I thought all the other food was great.

Onboard Activities

We only used the fitness center and it was very nice. Lots of equipment

Okay so here is where I have to rate the Liberty low. The inside of the ship is pretty however the outdoor areas are old and in desperate need of updating. Also the ship just plain smells. Several areas smelled like rotten eggs. Other areas smelled like urine and vomit. I heard other passengers complaining about the smell too. For this reason we will never sail on the Liberty again. I know that seems petty but omg after 4 days of smelling that stuff no way.

@Rosebuds6 I agree the layout is nice and the decor inside is pretty. We had a great time overall but this was our 2nd time cruising on the Liberty and both times the ship smelled. On this last cruise there was a lady in the guest services line complaining that her room smelled awful. I think this ship needs a good overhaul.

I’ve seen several complaints of urine / sewer smells on some Carnival ships. I’m guessing they changed something in the way they treat the sewage for environmental and / or cost savings and it does not work as well as what they used previously.

I love the Lido deck layout on the Liberty. It was an amazing ship for us in November. Hopefully you find a ship you like more on your next cruise.
