Embarkation
5 out of 5
A lot has changed since 9yrs, the process has been enhanced tremendously.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Buffets and drink package was good. Main dining was a struggle due to the limited selections. Carnival broke off that main dining menu and transferred it to the specialty restaurants for an added cost. I did without it cause there was plenty of food on the Lido deck.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
It was an R&R weekend for us so we really do much activity. We enjoyed being by the pool, lounging, and watching movies on the Lido deck.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We did Bingo night, enjoyed karaoke, a rock band show, and great music on the Lido deck.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Carnival staffs has always exceeded my expectations and this time is no different.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
First time being on the Liberty and it was very decked out with very fun and tasteful artwork throughout the ship. I like that they separated some of the eatery stations so that everyone is not cluttered in the same area so this was a plus. And yes, common areas are clean and well maintained despite messy cruisers.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Everything was what I expected. I wanted a room with a window but got a balcony instead so that was even better. The cabin is a nice size and the king size bed is as comfy as can be. It's the best part of the room. Everything is clean and neat.
Ship tip
Make sure you sign up for the carnival app so that you can pre-fill forms for a much better and faster service to get on and get off afterwards.
We were supposed to go to the Nassau but got detoured to Bimini. It was hands down better than Nassau as far as R&R goes. The beach was crystal clear and not trashy. It was the best beach I've ever been to so far.
