Review summary

Great overall short getaway. For the price and all that's included it would be hard to beat.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Embarkation is slow if you elect to get covid tested at the port.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The main dining room food was good. Buffet choices were limited but overall ok.

Guy's Burger Joint

4 out of 5

Always eat a few meals here. Fast service.

Golden Olympian Restaurant

4 out of 5

Used the carnival app for my time dining and it worked out very well. They will alert you when your table is ready. Food and service was good.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The pools were a little crowded and activities limited

Czar's Palace Casino

4 out of 5

Pretty large casino and has good drink service while playing.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service in every area of the ship was outstanding.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship's exterior was somewhat weathered. The interior of the ship was very clean and maintained. The ship's layout was easy to navigate once you get acquainted with which floors and elevators acess each area.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
This was a limited mobility accessible cabin. Not a great cabin for a wheelchair or scooter but will work out better than a regular cabin. The bathroom is wheelchair accessible with a shower seat. The cabin door size is only 22 inches wide. The balcony was small and not wheelchair accessible as it has a step up lip to get outside. The balcony was also in need of a good cleaning. The room's appearance was dated. Overall it served its purpose if you're not too picky.

Ship tip

Take this cruise for what it is. Its a clean ship for a short getaway. Its inexpensive as far as cruises go and enjoy the sights.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
Nice port with easy parking at cruise terminal three. It's also the same terminal as the new ship Mardi Gras.

Nassau, Bahamas

2 out of 5
Definitely not a very walkable port in its present shape. Major construction everywhere. The best bet would be an excursion.

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island) Did not visit port

My wife was in a scooter and this port requires transfer to a tender boat. Although they say it is possible to transfer with a scooter we declined the offer.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and painless. Used self assist and carried our own bags off the ship. Back in the parking garage at 7:30.
