Review summary

Overall great experience. It was great to finally get back out cruising. No problems or concerns while on the Liberty. It’s not as big as our favorite ship (Magic), but it definitely suited our needs for this short relaxation getaway. Only complaint, the cruise just never seems long enough!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Cruise terminal employees were very friendly and made embarkation a quick and easy process. We were COVID tested there at terminal which only took about 10 minutes.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We didn’t make it to the dining room this trip, but did visit Guys Burgers, buffet, Mongolian Wok and pizzeria quite a few times. Guys burgers and Mongolian wok are always great. The food on buffet was good but not always hot. Great variety of desserts this trip!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Our activities included the spa , casino, trivia, and sleeping!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We’ve seen Flick and America Rocks several times. Thoroughly enjoyed both shows.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The bartenders weren’t as friendly as the rest of the staff, but everyone else was very outgoing, friendly and very welcoming. The spa staff was great, and I thoroughly enjoyed each service I had done.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
There always seemed to be staff cleaning no matter where you looked. Ship was very clean and well maintained. Randel did a great job keeping our room clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Room was always clean. Everything seemed to work right. Love the big, fluffy pillows!

Ship tip

Learn the layout of ship early on so the rest of your cruise is stress free.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
We’ve been to Nassau several times so we didn’t venture out too far or book any excursions. A lot of construction going on at port. We always seem to visit straw market and then head back to ship.

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
Staff was very friendly. Signage and communication made for an easy embarkation.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Waiting on an elevator seems like the longest part of disembarkation. Passengers digging out their Id’s, Sail and sign cards, masks at last minute did hold up the line quite a few times, but once off the ship, going through Customs seem to go quicker than other times in the past. We were off the ship and waiting on rental car shuttle by 8:00.
