Review summary

Was hesitant to book this one because it was so cheap and because my last cruise on the Carnival Magic was somewhat of a letdown. However this ended up being on of my favorites. Liberty could use a remodel but it is an excellent design and has amazing food and the best cruise director. I love the outside deck on deck 3. Something the new ships don’t have. Also like how the outside decks and pool decks feel open and not cluttered with gimmicks.

Everything was great. Didn’t try the buffet or specialty restaurants.

Not much except the pools but they were not overly crowded which is a plus. Jogging track was closed. Mini golf closed in the evening which is when I wanted to use it.

Most were good. MarQ is an excellent cruise director.

Ship is an excellent design. Much better than the Magic in my opinion. Clean and in good condition for the most part. Exterior windows are so dirty you can’t see out. Also has occasional sewage smell around the ship.
