The cruise was nice, Carnival Liberty is obviously an older ship without all the latest frills and thrills and the rooms are showing wear and tear. We had plenty to do and had a great time. Entertainment was good and the No-No the Cruise Director did a very good at her job. She kept the passengers entertained.
Embarkation

Went very smoothly and organized
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Only ate at the buffet once, it was dinner, I was surprised that me nor my spouse found much to pick from. The main dining room was nice, wine was expensive. Went to the dining room for breakfast and order pancakes advertised with whipped ricotta cheese, toasted caramelized pecans and salted caramel syrup. What I got was 3 dry pancakes with 4 half pecans on the side.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
There was not a lot of onboad activities that I did. The small pool was usually crowded. I did enjoy the fitness center, I went early so it was fairly empty with plenty of equipment and free weights, appreciated the cleaning wipes for the machine. Everything I needed to workout with was available. There was not a lot of activities to choose from; Putt Putt Golf, pools, basketball, and casino. Movies at night were nice.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The entertainment was great. What would have been nice was a nice jazz room.
Children's Programs
No children
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The Cruise Director, No-No, was wonderful and very energetic. All staff were friendly and knew you name. Only came across one not-so-friendly person running the black jack table whom didn't seem interested in answering a question. But out of hundreds just one.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Once I got the idea of going to deck 5 to get to the dining room on deck 3, everything was good. The sports bar got very very crowded and could stand to be double it's size. The ship was very clean. I don't' understand the tiny pools though. With all those people the pool is very small so I'm assuming it has to be for a special reason.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Decent size and clean, showing some wear. Balcony could use a little attention.
Ship tip
Remember to go up to Deck 5 to get to either dining room on 3 - IMPORTANT
Did an excursion to Atlantis to Dolphin Cay. Got left by the shuttle because I had to go get my key, so we had to take a cab to Atlantis and then another cab to Dolphin Cay. That created a ripple effect at Atlantis but we got it worked out.
We waited to disembark late so it went relatively smoothly. We weren't aware that we were supposed to put tags on our luggage before we placed them outside our cabin. So it was a hunt trying to find them. It would have been helpful if the person picking up the luggage at the cabin would have extra tags and put one on the bag and the matching one in our mailbox.
No No is great!!! We were there on the September 26 the cruise . We were the last ship out of Freeport. As we were leaving they were boarding up all the shops by the pier....so sad.
