Review summary

we booked a room for 4 people. Once on board we asked the room be set up for four people to sleep. We were told the room we were in would only accommodate three! Uncomfortable is an understatement here. Carnival solution, we get a $50 on board credit and 15% off FUTURE cruise! Customer service on board were horrible to deal with. Waiting for hours for their solution to our sleeping situation- NOTHING could be done. I guess with the number of people cruising they really don’t have to care... I’ll never get that on board credit cause I won’t be back!

This certainly wasn't the fault of Carnival. Most cruises are sold out and there just isn't any place to put you somewhere else. The fault lies solely with whoever booked this room.

Not sure if this was your first cruise or not, but I would never consider 4 people in a room unless 2 were under 10 or you book a suite. The rooms on Carnival ships are larger than many other lines, but still only comfortable for 2 adults for a standard cabin.

Sorry to hear about your sleeping accommodations.

On the carnival website you can look at the deck plans and see which rooms convert to king or only twin and trundle bed information etc.... Or call Carnival directly if your not sure about the symbols on the deck plan information. Our room on the Valor, 6485, cannot convert to King only twins, but I called to ask them about replacing the couch with a trundle bed and in that particular room they could not do that either so we bought a mattress pad and our own sheets for the couch and several box fans. All packed and ready to go for 8/819. I’m sorry you had a bad experience.

How did you book your cabin? Yourself or a travel agent?
