Review summary

Overall, this was a wonderful first cruise for our family. We definitely plan to cruise again in the future based on this experience. For other traveling families, I don't know if it was the time of year or this particular ships but the age of several of the travelers (college age) did not always make this cruise "family friendly".

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We were traveling with our daughter who is disabled. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs as a family.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The dining room - and especially our waiter, June - were wonderful. The food was great and the atmosphere was relaxing. The buffets were a bit crowded, but the food was good.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The activities were very accessible. I was disappointed in the two small pools and deck chairs were at a premium.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We loved the musical entertainment. It was fun and interactive.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff went above and beyond to meet our needs. We were not expecting the level we received and were pleasantly surprised.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was exceptionally clean. There were some very minor issues with accessible seating on the Lido deck, but otherwise we were overall happy.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was a good size, well laid out and very clean. We loved our balcony.

Ship tip

Some of the groups can be a little loud and rowdy. That is something to keep in mind, but if you plan you can meet your specific wants and needs on the ship.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

2 out of 5
I was a little disappointed in the excursion in Nassau. The boat to get to our island was overbooked, the person in charge of getting us to a new boat was confused and confusing, the island was crowded with limited beach chairs and the food was sup par. This was the part I was looking forward to the most and the most disappointed in.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
It took much longer to disembark than expected - not due to the staff but guests not following directions.
