This was my first cruise. My adult daughter and I went together. I'm sure this will not be my last. In fact, we want to start traveling annually.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Great we drove but there was a wreck on the highway getting to the port. We were set back around 30 minutes or so but Carnival helped us board with plenty of time.

Food was wonderful. Wait staff was wonderful. They knew my name before I knew theirs.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Being a first time cruiser I wanted to try everything but there was so many activities. I got in the pool. I went down the water slide. We attended the Super Bowl Party, a Hasbro Game Show, a Rock and Roll Musical. My daughter won a watch at a drawing.

We attended a Super Bowl Party, a Hasbro Game Show and a Rock and Roll Musical. Not to mention the great show at our last dining room meal.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The wait staff served us on Princess Cays and knew us by name. So did the room stewards when they saw us in the hall. I was impressed.
Ship Quality

Very clean
Cabin / Stateroom

We were very comfortable. We had plenty of room. We would have had more room if I hadn't overpacked.
Ship tip
Join in as soon as you get on board. Meet new people. We made several new friends I hope will last a long time.
We did the "love of animals" excursion on Blue Lagoon Island. I felt like the staff at the Blue Lagoon were an extension of the Carnival Crew. They treated us like Royalty.
We visited Princess Cays 8 days after the fire. They were still trying to get power restored and some bathrooms were still closed down. But it seemed like everyone at Carnival just went an extra mile there to make us feel on vacation. It was a great day to relax and take in the sun, beach, and fun.
Because we drove we chose a late disembark time. This way we had time to enjoy a nice breakfast. We even got a special tour of a balcony suite for our next cruise.
