Overall this was an OK cruise, great for first time cruisers. We came across several people that had been on several cruises and said this one was more of the plain ones but still nice. I would sail carnival again, but not this ship.
Embarkation

We ended up getting there earlier then our orginal booked time, we were still able to get on board, staff was very nice and there was clear directions on where to go and what to do.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The only reason I am giving the Food/drink a 4 stars is because of the specialty restaurants. The buffet food was not that good, we were not impressed and once we ate at the other places we never went back to the buffet (other then getting fruit). The Guys' Burgers were amazing! I would skip the buffet and head straight for this place when you first get on board the ship. The old fashion bbq I think is often missed because it is upstairs, but that is a 100% must, we did the pulled pork and it was AMAZING! The taco and burrito place was good as well, meat was tender and perfect sizes for a afternoon snack!
We did not do the alcohol package but we did do the soda package. SKIP IT! My husband got the soda package and it was more annoying then anything. When we did eat lunch at the burger joint he had to go to the bar to get a soda, well everybody and their mother (literally) was getting a drink and we had to wait for a soda. On Royal Carribean they give you a cup that you can fill up at their machines located throughout the ship. I would skip the soda package and bring your own on board.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
While there was not to much to do on board(pools, hot tubs, mini golf), we LOVED the comedians. They were hilarious, we went every single night they had a show.
Entertainment

Again the comedians! They were SO funny! I literally would do this cruise again for just the comedians.
Children's Programs
we did not have children with us
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room stewards name was Harry and he was awesome! He was so kind and helped us with directions and in general. Our bathroom shower kind of over flooded and he was there immediately to help us. He was so friendly. 100% our favorite room steward we have ever had
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The ship was cleaned and maintained but there could be a couple upgrades. The layout was confusing the first 2 days, I still got turned around on the last day
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The room was very spacious! I did not like the fact that the hair dryer was in a hidden drawer (harry told us where to find it) but I would never have looked there ever. The room had a port hole big enough for me to sit in (which I did several times). The temperature was good, I felt like we were right outside maybe a main pipe? I kept hearing water in the walls firs thing in the morning. But it was quiet at night, over all great room
Ship tip
I would do this as a first time cruiser to get your feet wet. If you are experienced i would staty more with the newer ships
Beautiful island, lots of space, wish there was little bit more to do walking around wise but over all it was good. I did 4 stars because on the island your card does not work the same as on the ship ( we had the soda package and it did not work on the island) therefor 1 can of soda was $3.
